Secondary EDM Audience
Trance music originated in the 1990's in Germany
Common features of trance music are beats ranging between 125bpm to 150bpm. Trance music often consists of long beat sequences leading up to large drop and swift change in music style, picking up the tempo as the 'chorus' develops, before dropping back down to the slower 'verse'. There are often very little lyrics in the verses, often one verse repeated over and over again throughout the song and the chorus is the climax of the re-occuring beat and verses.
Tertiary EDM Audience

It too consists of long consistent beats before a swift change into a more upbeat drop, representing the songs main chorus. Likewise, there are very little lyrics and often only one verse on repeat throughout.
